Neelakanta Dikishitar Aradhanai 2012

Namaskaram.

This year aradhana of Mahakavi Sri Sri Neelakanta Deekshithar is celebrated from December 17th to 20th in his Adhishtanam at Palamadai as usual. Please make your arrangements for travel to Palamadai immediately. 

After the visit of our Acharya Jagathguru Sringeri Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Swamigal our village Palamadai bears a different look with most of the houses reconstructed or renovated and most of the houses white washed.

Especially our Sankara Mutt and newly built Dhyana Mantap in front of the Adhishtanamevery body should come and see for themselves. Our Dhyana Mantap is calm and quiet with its serene surroundings is very much suitable for people who like to enjoy the divinity.

The overwhelming response during the visit of our Acharya should be repeated again.

Do make a visit with your family members. Join us all in the celebrations of our Great Saint, Philosopher and Poet Mahakavi Sri Sri Neelakanta Deekshithar receive his blessings and also the blessings of Athangarai Pillaiyar, Kakkurichi Sastha, Godess Mangaleswsari Samedha Sri Mangalankureshwarar, Goddess Kasi Visalakshi Amba Samedha Sri Kasi Viswanathar, 

There will be a special pooja at the temple of Goddesses Poorna Pushkala Samedha Sri Kakkurichi Sastha and also at Sri Sri Gopala Sastrigal Samadhi.

We need volunteers for several activities to make this function a great success. People who are desirous of rendering sram dhan can select a service they may like.

Visit to Palamadai

We had submitted a Vigyapanam to Sri Sri Bharathi Theertha Swamigal, Sringeri, to visit Palamadai village, the abode of Mahakavi Sri Neelakanta Deekshitendra during His Vijaya Yatra to the Four Southern States.

In this connection a delegation of Four Senior Citizens of Palamadai visited Sringeri to pay obeisance to the Acharya and invite him personally on behalf of the citizens of Palamadai. We are glad to inform you all that His Holiness Sannidhanam Bharathi Theertha Swamigal has graciously consented to visit Palamadai as per the following schedule:

Arrival at Palamadai - Monday the 30th of April 2012 Afternoon His Holiness  Jagathguru will be received with poornakumbham, dooli pada pooja as per vedic tradition.

30-4-2012 Anugraha Bhashanam at the Dhyana Mandapam,

Devotees can perform Pada pooja at this time.

1-5-2012 9.00 A.M. Jagatguru Sri Bharathi Theertha Maha Swamigal,

will give darshan to Devotees. Theertha Prasadam will be performed.

Devotees can perform Pada pooja, Bhiksha vandanam.

This is an advance information given to all of you citizens of Palamadai and other well wishers in order to be in a position to make the required arrangements at short notice taking advantage of this rare opportunity to give your obeisance to His Holiness and participate in the celebrations.

Those intending to visit Palamadai can make their arrangements for travel and it will be helpful if you can make your own arrangements for accommodations because of the acute pressure at our end. They may also choose to send earlier contributions for meeting other expenses relating to preliminary arrangements, feeding of visitors and other incidental expenses.
